Design of sample display system on electronic nose for synthetic flavor classification

This study aimed to design a controlled sample display system on an electronic nose and test its performance for classifying synthetic flavors. There are four primary components the design. They system, detector, signal conditioning preprocessing, pattern recognition software. The consists of six vials. room temperature setpoint is set 40 ℃. has one heater two fans even temperature. one-time data collection process flushing (120 s), collecting (180 purging s). samples were flavors with different aromas; durian, mocca, orange, strawberry. Data analysis gas sensor response was done through stages; pre-treatment processing principal component (PCA). clearly from others, according PCA results. scores PC-1, PC-2, PC-3 cumulative variance 98.28%.
